Dr Mohammed Sabry – Psychiatrist

Dr Mohammed Sabry completed his MBBCH in Egypt in 2003. Through a university position he completed his psychiatry training in 2012 to become a consultant psychiatrist and a lecturer in university. Overall Dr Sabry had 10 years of experience in psychiatry in Egypt before moving to Australia with his family in 2014.
Since coming to Australia Dr Sabry worked in Mental Health with Wide Bay Mental Health Services. He completed his Fellowship with Royal Australian and New Zealand College of psychiatrists in 2017.
In 2019 Dr Mohammed Sabry was appointed as the Clinical Director of the Mental Health department in Wide Bay. Through this role he had the opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of the department and to oversee and work in different mental health teams across the service.
October this year , he decided to step down from his Clinical Director role and start a new chapter in his career as a Psychiatrist with Hervey Bay Doctors to continue his passion to support the Mental Health wellbeing of his clients of different ages.

Initial comprehensive diagnosis - $650.00 (out-if-pocket $205.10)
Review - $400.00 (out-of-pocket $121.85)
ALL DVA PATIENTS are covered under Medicare.

Dr Mohammed Sabry is a private Psychiatrist and will be working from Hervey Bay Doctors on Fridays. All patients are required to have a referral from their GP. This can be sent via Medical Objects or email reception@hbdoctors.com.au
