Dr Chris Woollard

Dr Chris graduated Medicine at Flinders University in Adelaide and has worked in various locations and roles around the country. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). He has no “Special Interest” as he enjoys the full spectrum of General Practice, including training the next generation of Doctors through supervision of medical students and GP Registrars. He settled in Hervey Bay with his three boys in 2016.

Dr Chrissy Halliday

Dr Chrissy Halliday graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2006 from the University of Tasmania. She gained her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2018. After completing a Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health in 2017, Dr Halliday worked at Family Planning Tasmania and a Youth Health Clinic.

Dr Flor Soto Rodriguez

Dr Flor is a FRACGP, and has been a GP for the last 14 years. She is originally from Colombia where her primary qualifications are from. She has practiced in Townsville, Cairns, Maitland and Newcastle NSW and has been in Hervey Bay for four years. She loves to provide comprehensive general health care for all the members of the family at all stages of life and endeavours to look after patients with acute and chronic pathology as well as advising preventive care. She would feel privileged to continue consulting at beautiful Hervey Bay and enjoy all the exciting local events in the company of her husband, her son, her dog and dear friends.

Dr James Ibrahim

Immediately upon graduating with an MBBS in 2008, James pursued a 5 year international professional cycling career. James has since completed a Masters degree in Pain Management and a Graduate Diploma in Psychiatric medicine. James has extensive mental health experience, particularly in adolescent mental health.James’s clinical areas of interest also include paediatrics, sports medicine, chronic pain, drug and alcohol management and complex care coordination. He is particularly passionate about preventative medicine and the early detection and prevention of chronic disease. He is passionate about primary care system reform and addressing the true underlying issues that lead to people presenting complaints. He has held numerous advisory and advocacy positions within both the college of GPs and with government health departments around the topics of mental health, drug and alcohol management and social prescribing. James is accredited to provide Implanon insertion and can provide iron infusions. His other passions include fishing, underwater photography, snowboarding and spending time with his wife and five young children.

Dr Jia Yeoh

Dr Jia was born in Singapore and graduated from The University of Adelaide Medical School in 2017.

She took on challenging roles early in her career. Her experience includes paediatric surgery in a tertiary hospital, emergency department and outreach in remote North West Australia.

Reflecting on these experiences led her to pursue primary care. Patients appreciate her practical, honest, and engaging approach. Outside of medicine, she enjoys hiking, avoiding crowds, and embracing life’s simple joys.
